Obituary of grace lorraine carnello

Grace Lorraine Carnello (Carr) of Mary Esther, Florida (Formally of Wareham, MA) passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2022. Born in Middleborough, MA on September 3, 1928 to Joseph C. Carr and Lorretta M. Carr (Perry). She was the widow of the late William Benjamin Carnello whom she was married to for 60 years. She was predeceased in death by brothers, Francis Carr, Gerald Carr, and Raymond Carr; sisters, Adeline Miller, Blanch Gurney, and Edith Kazlauski. After the passing of her husband Billy, she had a dear friend Ed Savard who she spent lot's of great times with. Grace is survived by son, Mark A. Carnello and his wife Kimberly M. Carnello of Mary Esther, Florida; grandchildren, William A. Carnello and his wife Sarah of Niceville, Florida, Abby M. Freligh and her husband Shannon of South Paris, Maine, and Joshua A. Carnello and his finance McKayla Houldcroft of Norway, Maine; step-grandsons, Shane P. Byrnes and his fiance Jessie Kendall of Middleborough, MA and Kevan Byrnes of Bridgewater, MA; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Penelope, and Zoey. She had many nieces and nephews that were dear to her, especially Lori Kazlauski, who cared for her with so much love during her later years. Grace absolutely loved her family. Grace loved the Red Sox and watching Nascar (especially Kyle Busch). For years she bowled at Lakeville recreation. She was a avid bingo player. She spent Friday nights with friends playing bingo. Grace also loved going for rides with dear friends, Francis Savard and his sister Irene Ferreira. Francis drove them pretty much anywhere they wanted to go. She frequented restaurants such as Cranberry Cottage, Apazidis, Vel's, and the Country Whip. Where everyone knew and loved her. Gracie always had a kind word and a smile to share. Family and friends are invited to attend Graveside Committal Service at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Wood Street, Middleborough, MA, Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10AM.
