Obituary of norris e. knowles

Norris E. Knowles, 76, formerly of Glenburn, ME, passed away September 11, 2021 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was the son of the late Bertrand and June Knowles. He graduated in 1963 from East Corinth Academy and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. At his time of death, he was survived by his wife, Catherine Knowles (who passed a week later); daughters, Wanda and her family, Wendy and her family, Bill and his family; granddaughter Kayla and her family. Kayla is the daughter of Norris Jr. who predeceased his father. We were a blended family with stepdaughters, Robin and her family, Kim and her family. Loved on both sides by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His surviving siblings and their families, Merton, Milton, Margaret, June and Julia. He was predeceased by siblings, Mildred, Marie, Muriel, Maurice, Melvin and Jackie. His final request was to be laid to rest in Florida. He will be laid to rest along with his wife Catherine at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida on November 12, 2021 at 2:30 pm. Services provided by Family-Funeral and Crematon. Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no service. You are welcome to pay your respects while maintaining social distance after interment.
