Obituary of kim eric white

Kim Eric White, 68, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, was called home on Friday, July 9, 2021. Kim was born in Tampa, Florida on December 4, 1952 to Charles and Betty (Hunnell) White. Their family was then stationed at Eglin Air Force Base and built a house in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Kim graduated from Choctawhatchee High School 1970. Kim joined the United States Air Force upon leaving high school to become a Jet Engine Mechanic and travel the world. Engine work was a passion for him, whether it was on airplanes for his job or on cars in his spare time. Kim always bragged that he rebuilt his first motor without his Daddy's help at the age of 12. this led to him choosing an automotive career when he separated from the United States Air Force. "Kim worked his way around the south as a mechanic and then shop manager in garages from Tallahassee to Lafayette. Kim married Patricia Bayer in 1978 after meeting her at the diner across the street from his job. They later returned to his childhood hometown to care for his parents in their old age. Kim owned and operated his own auto repair shop in Destin, Florida, Tire Tech and Service Inc. from 1995 until he retired in 2015. As the owner of Tire Tech, he made lifelong clients and friends both local and snowbirds that came to town every year, through doing business with them. So many people trusted him with their vehicles, and their safety because he genuinely cared and tried to help, giving as much as he could. Kim's life also revolved around his family. While his oldest daughter Missy was in middle school, he loved going to her softball games and supported the teams she was on. This led to him to coach a girls city team and made sure that all her teammates were able to play during the games. Kim supported all of his children in their endeavors into their adulthood. Kim always gave everything he had to give, and then some. He also taught many valuable life lessons along the way. Kim always wanted everyone to be included as a family unit, he loved having everyone over to have big family dinners, often 10-12 people around at a time. Even his children's friends were his "adopted children" and came on family trips. Kim loved spending time in the kitchen preparing elaborate meals with and for his family. Kim is survived by his wife; Patricia, his four daughters; Michelle (Eric Ayala), Brittany (Spencer Garrity), Erica (Torey Thomas), and Priscilla (Andrew Cook), as well as his two sons; Scott (Joy White), and Marvin.
