Obituary of eric charles landis

Eric Charles Landis, age 62, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Eric was born in Moline, Illinois July 10, 1960 to Donald George and Bennie Dunham Landis. He moved with family to Gulf Breeze as a young man and has been in the area ever since. Eric discovered his passion for fishing and made it into a career as Dock Master at Pensacola Beach Marina. Eric was well known in the Pensacola Beach area as “a hell of a guy”, an amazing brother, and the best fisherman on the peninsula. Eric is preceded in death by his parents Donald Landis and Bennie Kenney. He is survived by his sister Tamara “Tam” Landis Lee, of Milton, Florida; half-sister, Stephanie Lehrman of Berlin, Germany, and his chosen “beach family” who meant the world to him. A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Eric on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Paradise Bar and Grill at Pensacola Beach from 4:30 – 6:00 pm
