Obituary of Linda Lee Blisard

Linda Lee Blisard (neé Wimmer) passed away peacefully on 9/27/2022. Linda took in anyone who needed a home or a meal, be it two or four-legged friends with a kind and loving heart. She was a gracious hostess and an amazing cook and baker. Growing up in rural Maryland she honed her skills in cooking, baking, canning, jamming, sewing, and crocheting. Linda is survived by her daughters, Lisa Ayres, Andrea Plante, and Brandy Blisard, grandsons Stephen Veres and his wife Desiree and Douglas Blisard-Engler and his wife Stephanie, great-grandchildren Aidan Engler, Ayva Engler, Camden Engler, and Theodore Veres, and her 98-year-old great aunt Mary Lee Johnson. She is preceded in death by her son, husband, parents, and many beloved animals. Her family is deeply mourning her passing; however, they are comforted knowing that she is at peace in the loving embrace of God. Linda’s family wishes to thank Jamie Sivels for her care and Covenant Hospice for the excellent care the staff provided. The family will have a private service.
