Obituary of irian lanier mcdaniels

Irian Lanier McDaniels, age 80, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, passed on September 13, 2022. Born in Opelika, AL to the late Gideon Ezekiel and Daisy Alice McDaniels. Mr. McDaniels leaves behind a son, Adrian; daughter, Sheila; and siblings Reagan Lavell, Nathaniel Duvantz, Rawa Kiernahn, Seleta Mone, and Connie Oneila along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife of 56 years, Victoria “Vicky” Chuanyee, his siblings Marjorie Ellen, Doy Delbert, Larry O’Neal, Ronald Lewis, Gerald Leonard, Kelvey Quinn, and Quillie Gerrell. Mr. McDaniels enlisted in the United States Air Force in Montgomery, AL on August 14, 1962, and served four years as a Radio Repairman. While serving in Germany, he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.
