Obituary of travis Joseph hurd

Travis Joseph Hurd, 41, passed unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2022 in Pensacola, Florida. Travis had the gift of making everyone feel special. With his kindness and charm, he touched many hearts and inspired others to do the same. We are all better people having had Travis as part of our lives. He will be dearly missed, always remembered, and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. Travis was born October 26, 1980 in Seattle, Washington. He was a bartender at several places throughout the Pensacola community, including McGuire’s, Seville Quarter, and Calvert’s. He loved his family, especially his niece, Ally. He had many friends whom he dearly loved. He loved the beach and his Florida Gators. He is survived by his mother and father, Peter and Yuvonne Hurd, his brother, Trenton Hurd; his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Scott Clevenger; his grandmother, Joanne Starratt; his grandparents, Medford and Penelope Starratt; one niece, Ally Clevenger and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph and Geraldine Hurd. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, at First United Methodist Church in Pensacola, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Travis to the Travis Hurd Student Scholarship Fund at First United Methodist Church, 6 East Wright Street, Pensacola, Florida 32501.
