CRYSTAL PERRY

Obituary of CRYSTAL rENEE PERRY

Crystal Renee Perry was born Crystal Takeda by Walter and Paulette Takeda on the 18th of February 1968. The Oldest of two kids – sister Cindy but would eventually become a mother of 4 – Thomas, Nicole, Brenton and Kaneo. My wife Crystal left this world on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Crystal and I were fortunate enough to share many wonderful years together – over 23 actually, but – gone too soon – as I feel as though I would do anything to have more time with her. Sometimes it seems as though we had always known one another - finishing one another’s sentences or thinking about the same thing while being worlds apart in time and space - but in fact, we met each other at a rather odd time in life: Her, a 30yr old mother of two having just completed a 4yr stint in the Navy, and me, a 21yr old single parent to one and an Airman First Class, in the Air Force. her true passion in life was to be a good wife and an amazing mother... I can tell you she accomplished the first, the second, simply ask our kids. But this is where, in my opinion, she really shinned, as an amazing wife and mother. Her other interests included music, travel and cooking. The first two, she was accomplished in, the last one there, cooking, she is pretty fantastic. Along the way, as previously stated, she was a loving and devoted wife, who seemed to always have time to think about me and help me with my own work where she could. And while she might have complained some about all my traveling and countless trips to the Middle East, she will be remembered for her passion, devotion, compassion, and her creativity. I would like to thank all of the dear ones, the group of devoted friends and family that gave us strength and laughter during these most difficult final days. Crystal’s spirit was a part of you and will always be so. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 3-6pm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
