Obituary of william norris cosgrove

William (Billy) N. Cosgrove III, 38 of Crestview, passed away unexpectedly on Friday June 17, 2022. Billy was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on June 4, 1984 to Ida Mae Ramsdell & William N. Cosgrove Jr., he attended school in his hometown of Calais, Maine. Billy was what people would refer to as the “Jack of all Trades” he was remarkably gifted working for many years as a carpenter. Many will remember his infectious smile, humorous antics, and caring nature. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Billy will have a humorous story to tell. Although his passing leaves behind a great void, he will live on through his beautiful children whom he loved dearly. Billy is survived by his brother Stephen Ramsdell, his sisters Corrine Cosgrove and Amanda (Ramsdell) Weibring. Billy is also survived by his children Nevaeh Thomas, Raven Cosgrove, and William (Bubbie) N. Cosgrove IV as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother Ida Mae Ramsdell and father William N. Cosgrove Jr. The family has chosen to have a private ceremony, the family also asks loved ones and the community to please drive carefully and consider donating in Billy’s memory to their local Motorcycle Safety Awareness group.
