Obituary of jimmy ray manning

Jimmy Ray Manning, 86, of Whitfield Community passed away in Covenant Care - Hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital on May 25, 2022. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Emris & Vivian Manning; first wife, Doretha Fisher Manning; infant son, Jimmy Jr; and daughter, Vicki Cuccarollo. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nina Cotton Manning; daughter’s, Yvonne Goodwin; Teresa Pierce (John); Denise Hickman; Melissa Manning; Brooke Hoffman (Ted & Haven); brother, Gary Manning; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jimmy was born on January 06, 1936 in Birmingham, AL. He moved to Pensacola in 1964 with L&N Railroad (now CSX). He retired in 1998 with 44 years of service credit. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Milton, FL. Jimmy was an avid fisherman, camper and enthusiastic NASCAR fan. The service will be held at Family-Funeral. 5627 N. Davis Hwy, Pensacola 32503 on Thursday, June 02, 2022. Visitation at 11:00 a.m., service at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Gordon Dilliashaw of P.G.M.B. Church officiating. Pallbearers will be Ted Hoffman, Michael Jackson, Clifton Dannelly, Ryan Childress, Patrick Kibler, and Rick DeBell. Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Dannelly and Tony Trapani.
