Obituary of nancy jane cartwright

Nancy Parker Cartwright, age 77, passed away on April 18th after a lengthy battle with liver failure (NASH). Nancy was a 20-year resident of Pensacola but was well-traveled as an Army spouse. She was born in Cullman, AL, to loving parents William Levis and Verna Kelley Parker. Nancy had several successful careers of her own in banking and realty. Her family remembers Nancy as the “glue” of the family and one who always rooted for the underdog. She was often found painting and doing projects for her family if she wasn’t watching one of her favorite realty or decorating shows. She loved her family, the beach, and dinner on Friday nights at the Yacht Club. Nancy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Eric, and his children Stewart Cartwright, Gary Cartwright, Darren Cartwright, and Pamela Cartwright as well as her children Greg (Beth) Wooten and Wayne (Tiffany) Wooten. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her daughter Kim Wooten and her brother Johnny Mac Parker.
