Mr. Dye was so kind and generous to me as a petty officer and Air Control Specialist in the Navy at NAS Pensacola in 90-91. He allowed me to be his right hand assistant during my short appointment there and he and I visited Elgin AFB and other bases and outer lying fields (OLF's) on a regular basis for logistics coordination and safety strategies. He was the best at what he did and genuine wonderful and kind person. I am sorry to learn of his passing. I wish that I could have seen and spoken to him again.
