Obituary of dennis boyce

Dennis Boyce 63, of Pensacola, FL passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Dennis was born in Teaneck, NJ and spent several years in the New England area before moving to the Florida Panhandle in 2002 where he thrived as a self-employed artist. Most recently he was a regular and popular vendor at Palafox Market where he will be remembered for his extreme talents and love of life. He considered the artists there and throughout the tight arts community part of his extended family. His big personality, zest for life and love of all endeavors artistic will be sorely missed. He wanted nothing more than to share through his art the vision and beauty he saw in everyday objects, landscapes, people and places. As a talented photographer, he took thousands of photographs which provided inspiration for many of his paintings. Dennis studied art at the Pratt Institute and The Art Students League in New York. In addition to his many commissions in commercial art, he also taught both watercolor and acrylic painting classes and had shown his works in numerous galleries throughout New England and Florida. Dennis is survived by his sons Liam (Jasmin) of Lakewood, WA, and Michael, of Waltham, MA and his brothers Richard (Penny) and James (Diane) of Navarre, FL. Services will be private.
