Eddie Nolan, 77, departed this life on February 28, 2022. Eddie was born in Pensacola, Florida to the late Henry (Butch) Nolan, Jr., and Lillie B. Walker Nolan. Eddie attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington School in Pensacola, Florida in 1963. He then joined the United States Air force to serve his country, which he did for 20 years. During that time, he met and married the love of his life Adrienne and had two beautiful girls, Andrea, and Anissa. While in the service, Mr. Nolan was awarded many accolades: Outstanding Unit Award with devices, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Longevity Service Award Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. After retiring from the Air Force, Eddie joined forces with the United States Navy where he became a Federal Civil Servant. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic from 1985 to 2004. In 2004 after retiring from Federal Civil Service, Eddie made the most of life and retirement. He enjoyed golfing with his father and loved spending time with friends. He had a special love for his dog. He was full of laughter, joy, and love to any and everyone who knew him. Eddie had a big heart and never met a stranger who did not love him. Eddie was proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Lillie Nolan, his beloved wife Adrienne Nolan, brothers Henry E. Nolan and Lloyd Nolan, and sister Kathy Hardley. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Andrea Nolan and Anissa (Quentin) Nolan-Branch, and two grandsons, Darien Brown, and Donovan Branch. He also leaves to mourn him four sisters: Hilda Edmonds, Loretta Nolan, Joanne Allen, Deanna Nolan Hixon, and one sister-in-law Bessie Nolan. He also leaves to cherish his memory a slew of nieces, nephews, plus a host of family members and close friends like Jeffery Burgess and Ruth Corey. A Memorial Graveside will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:30 AM . Procession will meet at 10:45 AM at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 N. Davis Hwy, Pensacola, Florida 32503 Interment at Barrancas National Cemetery.
