Obituary of John william jacobs

John W. Jacobs, age 84 passed away on February 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Lyles, and his in laws Ralph and Amy Becker. In 1954 he joined the Navy and served four years, in 1957 John married his soul mate Jo Ann Becker, A union that lasted 64 years. Loving father of Kimberly A. Jacobs Harmeyer (Tony). A Loving Grandfather of Christopher Ripple (Brandi), and Brandon Ripple. Four great grandchildren, Cody, Mackenzie, Jonathan, and Sydney. John was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 28, 1937, and resided in Lillian, Alabama. He was a Purchasing agent in the chemical industry for 31 years until his retirement. He lived life so humbly, thinking of others before himself. His kindness, generosity, love and humor will be missed by all who know him.
