David Schlotfeldt

Obituary of David Arnold Schlotfeldt

David heard a whisper from God he said, “it’s time to come home”. David passed peacefully while he slept in his bed. David was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and had fought a 10-month long battle. Dad stated to everyone that he would beat his cancer, be healed either in this life, or the next. Well Dad you were right you beat cancer. He stated that God had him and he would be okay. Dad’s body may have given up on him, but his faith in God as his Lord and savior never wavered. Dad served his country in the United States Air Force and worked for the post office. David loved to travel he saw the entire country in his 20’s and he even traveled to Europe and talked about his climb up the Eiffel Tower. Now dad is on an adventure we will all have an opportunity to take someday. We Love you Pawpaw. David is proceeded in death by his parents Carl Andrew Schlotfeldt and Charlotte Mabel Taylor, a Brother Richard Schlotfeldt and His Son Jasson Skot Smith.
