Johnny Carl Thomas Jr, 72, of Gulf Breeze, FL, passed away on Wednesday February 9, 2022, following a lengthy medical battle with Parkinson's disease. In accordance with Johnny’s wishes, his brain has been donated to the Mayo Clinic in an effort to further research finding a cure for Parkinson’s. Johnny is survived by his wife of more than 50 years Becky Thomas and two daughters, Alicia Renee of Pensacola, FL and Regina Lee of Gulf Breeze, FL. Johnny also leaves behind his two granddaughters, Eva Lee and Allie Renee Carmichael. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Carl Thomas Sr and Evalee Thomas of Blairsville, GA. He was born in Atlanta, GA on May 23, 1949, and graduated from Forest Park High School. Johnny spent the majority of his life proudly building custom homes and enjoyed retirement for a number of years. Johnny truly cherished traveling and riding motorcycles with friends. Johnny requested that there be no public service in his memory.
