Obituary of Shirley Green medley

Shirley Green Medley, 67, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones at home after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Medley was born on December 17, 1953 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late James and Sue Green. She married her late husband Ron of Huntsville, Alabama in 1975 and the couple was married for over 40 years. They welcomed their two children, Hunter in 1989 and Rachel in 1994. She enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching, college football and was a fanatical Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. Mrs. Medley is survived by her children, Hunter Medley of New London, Connecticut, and Rachel Medley of Nashville, Tennessee. A celebration of life will be held at a later time in Pensacola. The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Medley and the family in her last days. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be sent to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
