Obituary of David Miller Gay

David “Miller” Gay Jr, 52, passed away suddenly October 9th. Miller was born in Pensacola, Fl. to David Miller Gay and Marguerite Virginia Suber-Lindsey of Quincy Florida. Both parents preceded his death. Miller had a sister Stephanie Virginia Gay Wilson, and a step sister Andrea Lindsey Barber. Miller spent most of his childhood in Pensacola. Growing up, if he wasn’t playing ball at Brent, or in the back yard with friends; he was at the neighborhood pool, or riding a bike. He also loved to surf, fish, and to go to turkey track to go hunt. Miller finished up his senior year of high school in Quincy. He was well received at Robert F Monroe, & quite the ladies’ man. Miller went on to graduate with a business degree from Florida State University. Miller settled down a little, and had two beautiful children Bryce Miller Gay and Berkley Raina Gay. I have never met a man who loved his children more than Miller. Miller raised Bryce and Berkley in Colorado. Both Children still live in Colorado with their own families. Bryce married Paige Burby, and they have Asher Luke Burby and Amelia Layne Burby Gay. Berkley, and Tyler Hute have one son Chance Owen Hute. Not only did Miller love his children but he adored his grandchildren and his beloved Dog Georgia. Miller moved back to Pensacola where his sister Stephanie and her husband JP Wilson and daughter Shelby Elaine Bubien all reside. Miller wanted to come back to Pensacola where he grew up on the sugar sand beaches to live on the water. Miller had a way of making life fun. He was a goofball that lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed the water and going out in the boat, unless there was a good football game on. But most of all Miller loved his family. There will be a service Thursday October 21st in Quincy Florida at the First Presbyterian Church on 306 Madison St. Visitation is at 1:00 EST. Service will begin at 2:30. PM
