Obituary of Katina Maria gonzales

Katina (Tina) Maria Gonzales, 46, of Pensacola, Florida, passed peacefully from this world on Monday evening, October 4, 2021. She was born on a stormy July 8th in 1975 to Adelardo and Betty Gonzales at NAS Mayport in Jacksonville, FL. Tina grew up in Pensacola, FL and attended Bellview Middle School. Tina joined the work force by accepting a position with the Krystal Company in 1998. She was a successful Production Associate and eventually worked her way to Production Master. The Krystal Company was her home away from home for more than 20 years. She delighted in what she did for a living and enjoyed the people with whom she worked. Animals were very important to Tina. Zoro and Brutus were her favorite cats while Corrina was her favorite dog. She was always available to nurture sick animals and pet-sit when needed. Tina was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to wear her Romo jersey on Sundays. She was a friend to everyone she met and didn't know a stranger. She was an original “couch potato” and enjoyed taking it easy. On any given day, you could find her perusing the isles of Walmart. She is survived by her mother, Betty Gonzales; sisters Lanie (Jonathan) Waugh and Amy (Christopher) Tolbert; brothers Adelardo Jr, Eddie, and Raymond Gonzales; 6 nieces and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her dad, Adelardo N. Gonzales. A private graveside service and interment at Resthaven Gardens Cemetery will be held at a later date.
