Obituary of robert elmo lyde

Robert (Bobby) Elmo Lyde went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2021. Bob was born on May 29, 1945 in Hobart Ok, Bob was preceded in death by his parents Bill and June Lyde and son Greg Lyde. Bob graduated from Hobart High School. He served in the US Navy from August 1965 to August 1969. Bob was also an over the road driver for 40 years. He is survived by his wife Juanita Jo Lyde, Daughter; Molly Lyde McDonald (Bobby) GA, Son Chad Martin Hornbrook (IN) 5 Grandchildren Grant Lyde (Tina) (KS) Heath McDonald (CO) Eli, Caroline and Chloe McDonald (GA) 2 Great Grandsons Gage and Grayson Lyde, 2 Brothers; Joe Lyde (Ginger) (OK), Randy Lyde (IL), Sister-in-Law and brother-in-Law; Robert and Jackie Godfrey (FL), Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-law; John and Linda Hornbrook (WA), As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to his caregivers Dave Johnson and Marie Cotitia Bob will be missed by all who loved him. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Pine Forest Assembly of God, 3125 Pine Forest Road, Cantonment, Florida 32533. Interment will follow service at Barrancas National Cemetery.
