Obituary of Stephanie Micelle Lewis

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of our sister, mother, and friend, Stephanie Lewis, aged 53. Stephanie was born in Greenville PA, to Michael Lewis and Carolyn Charleson. She lived in Greenville for most of her life until recently, where she fulfilled her dream of living in Florida near the ocean. For those who had the experience of knowing Stephanie, many words come to mind: passionate, kind, loving, and wise are just a few. She attended Penn State University to study psychology, then moved to family life with the birth of her eldest son. She was an avid mother and loved her family with her whole heart. She was not a conventional person, but that is what people loved most about her. She was a free thinker and questioned everything. She was smart and quick with words. She loved animals and was a loving caretaker of many pets, but what Stephanie enjoyed most was taking care of people. She had a large, loving, heart for everyone. She took care of anyone who needed warmth, affection, or just one of her delicious meals. No matter what their lot in life, she was a friend to those who needed her. A lifelong companion to all whom she loved, unfaltering in her faith and loyalty to people and to Jesus Christ. Stephanie is survived by her two sons, Tom Moss and Alex Lewis, both currently serving in the US Air Force. She is also survived by her two sisters, Elizabeth Bisig of Harrisburg and Christina Goetjen of New York City. She is remembered fondly by her aunt and uncle, Joyce and Pete Keeley, residents of Greenville, and her uncles, Bob Lewis, of Atlanta, GA and Raymond Charleson of London, UK. In addition to her parents, Michael Lewis and Carolyn Charleson she was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Lillian and Gail Lewis. All of which were Greenville residents. Stephanie is also survived by her cousins, Meredith Eaton of Grove City, Susie Sippola of Sharpsville, Donnie Lewis of Grove City, and Cherie Charleson , Max Charleson, and Natalie Starr, all of Daytona, FL.
