Michael Joe Hardiman, born March 23, 1973 passed away at the age of 48, Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Pensacola, FL surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Julia Mooney Hardiman, and they shared four wonderful years of marriage together. Born in Belleville, Illinois, he was the son of Billy Wayne and Lucinda (Cindy) Tucker Hardiman. He attended Chilton County High School in Clanton, AL where he grew up. In Pensacola, he worked for Cunningham and DeLaney Construction as a truck superintendent. He is survived by father Billy Hardiman, mother Lucinda (Cindy) Hardiman, Clanton, AL, wife Julia Mooney Hardiman, Pensacola, FL, children Jordann Tracy (Jacob), Clanton, AL, Kaleb Hardiman, Millbrook, AL, grandfather Donald L. Tucker, Urbana, MO, sister Angelia Hardiman Riley (Shannon), Clanton, AL, sister Kathy Hardiman Adams (Scotty), Jemison, AL, brother Billy W. Hardiman Jr. (Jazmine), Clanton, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, one great nephew, and a multitude of extended family. He is preceded in death by W.B. and Margie L. Roebuck of Clanton, AL, Nancy Tucker of Urbana, MO, and Archie and Tott Hardiman of Clanton, AL. Michael was well known as Spanky in the Clanton community where he grew up. He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend to everyone he met, and left a lasting effect on everyone he came in contact with. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 16th at 2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church located at 2005 2nd Ave N Clanton, AL 35045, where he attended church during his childhood, and his family still attends. A Celebration of Life will also be held on Sunday, November 14th from 2-6 p.m. at Sander’s Beach Community Center located at 913 South I Street Pensacola, FL 32502. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
