Obituary of Petra kathryn mcdonald

On September 18, 2021, Petra Kathryn McDonald, 62, of Pensacola, Florida passed away at her home with her loving husband, Mitchell by her side. Petra was born on June 15, 1959 in Ingelheim, Germany to the late Ute Bauer and Robert Hammond. Petra truly enjoyed doing for others whether it was cooking, crocheting, or baking cakes. She loved hosting her Kaffeeklatschs where she would be surrounded by her friends just talking about what was going on in their lives. I think most would say that anything she baked would leave you wanting more. Another passion of hers was dancing, you could always find her out on the dance floor. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Hammond and survived by her husband, Mitchell. Petra was a devoted mother of four children; Eileen Guth, Megan McDonald, and Clay McDonald; Honorary Daughter, Tarra; grandchildren, Arianna, Vance, Mya, and Porter; sister, Nicole (Ekhart) Petermen; brothers, Chris (Nancy) Hammond, Holger (Gundrun) Bauer, Torsten Bauer, Frank (Gigi) Bauer, Marco Richert, as well as one half-brother, John and two half-sisters, Monica and Amy. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 with visitation from 3:00-4:00pm and service at 4:00pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503..
