Obituary of Steven Dinale Booker

Steven Dinale Booker, affectionately known as, "Steebo", was born to Sherlene Ann Booker in Pensacola, Florida, on September 22, 1974. He departed this life to his Heavenly home, due to an aggressive form of stomach cancer on September 5, 2021 at the age of 46. Steven was raised by Ollie Mae Posey and Marion Williams. Steven was educated in the public schools of Escambia and Allegheny County and graduated from Pittsburgh Brashear High School. In his adventurous lifetime, he was a self-taught chef who worked at some of the finest restaurants and hotels within Pensacola, Florida including, Five Sisters Blues Cafe, The Grand Hotel, Versailles, and various other places. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, being silly & goofy, watching football (Roll tide baby!), enjoying his countless friends and family, but most importantly, spending time with his children. He was a stranger to none and appreciated living life to its fullest. We will always remember his generous and loving spirit. He is preceded in death by adoptive parents; Ollie Mae Posey & Marion Williams; infant daughter, Skyy Destin Booker; siblings, James Posey, Marion Posey, Patricia Williams Johnson, Larry Williams, and Sallie Williams. As he has gained his wings, he leaves to cherish his many precious memories: son, Dezmond Booker of Tampa, Fl; daughters, Dayzia Booker of Tampa, FL and Taryin Booker of Atlanta, Ga; mother, Sherlene Booker of Tampa, FL; brother, Mike Johnson of Pensacola, FL; girlfriend, Elizabeth Austin of Pensacola, FL; special friends, Tomaya Robbs of Pensacola, FL, Tiffany Dickens of Columbus, GA, Godfather Johnny Kimmons of Pensacola, FL, Godmother Rosie Smart of Pensacola, FL, dear friend Edith Young of McAllen, TX. He also leaves behind a host of various aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that he loved so dearly. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 with visitation from 10:00-11:00am and Service at 11:00am at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503.
