Obituary of william eugene barton

William "Bill" Eugene Barton passed away in Milton, Florida at 4:55am on August 30, 2021, at the age of 82 from Covid-19. William is predeceased by his love of more than twenty years, Delores Bowers; his mother, Velma C. Staples; brother, Eddie Staples and sister, Carolyn "Sue" Guidy. William is lovingly remembered by his brother, Richard Staples; sisters, Debra Alpin and Sandy Barney; sons, Michael Nelson, his wife, Amanda; Jerrel Barton, his wife, Lynn and Billy Barton and grandchildren Zachary, Malackhi, Anna, Ben, Jonathan, Cooper, Matthew and Kaitlyn. William was born in Milton, Florida and lived in Pensacola and also the Lake City area. William enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was above all a die-hard New York Yankees fan, as baseball was his passion. Due to Covid- 19, a celebration of William's life will be held at later date.
