Charles (Chuck) H. Solinger, 70, of Milton, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Chuck was born on January 23, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio to parents, Ralph Lee Solinger and Lona Ladona Boyd. He graduated from Austintown Fitch High School and attended Youngstown State University. Chuck proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1970-1976. He was a Commercial Construction Estimator and Project Manager/Superintendent. He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph; mother, Lona and step-father, Edward Naymick. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; daughters, Melissa and Elizabeth Solinger; son, Erik (Shawna) Solinger; mother of his children, Colleen Solinger; granddaughters, Abigail and Evelyn Solinger. He was a generous, kind-hearted man and always willing to help others. He enjoyed people and gathering with friends. Whatever he did, he always strived to give it his best and be successful. Chuck enjoyed motorcycles and riding his Harley, as well as enjoying Nascar racing, listening to music and reading. Even though he did not get much of a chance, Chuck liked to travel and see and experience new places. He enjoyed cruising with his wife and their trips to Las Vegas to see the Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas Speedway and the other sites and shows. I remember him telling me about camping/fishing in Canada as a child, jeep racing as a younger man, and always enjoyed sharing the activities and achievements of his children growing up.
