Obituary of Thomas allen johnson

Thomas Allen Johnson, age 46, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at his home in Pensacola, Florida. Tommy was born on September 22, 1974 in Alexandria, Louisiana to his parents, Benny Floyd Johnson and Theresa Day Johnson. He was a long-time resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. He was an active member of My Father’s Vineyard Church and loved to be of service as much as he could. Tommy was also an accomplished singer/songwriter and musician. He had a huge heart and displayed kindness and love to everyone that he had the pleasure of knowing in his life. Tommy was a funny guy and could always find the humor in most situations. He had very recently been baptized and was striving to bring others to know the Lord as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Theresa and his brother, James Johnson. Tommy is survived by his six children, Haley, Jace, Kaleb, Zane, Isabella, and Abigail; his grandchildren, Amelia and Adelyn; three of his siblings, Melina, Christopher, Matthew and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at My Father’s Vineyard, 7895 Pensacola Boulevard, Pensacola, Florida 32534, with visitation from 12:00-1:00pm, Life Celebration from 1:00-2:00pm with fellowship and refreshments from 2:00-3:00pm in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Oxford House at www.oxfordhouse.org.
