Obituary of russell g. curran

Russell G. Curran of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. He was born on November 6, 1958 in Pensacola, Florida to Fred and Shirley Curran. Russell was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. As a young man, he had a love for surfing, he was an avid fisherman and he served as a coach for Little League Baseball for many years. Russell retired from Westinghouse Nuclear Power Plant and then pursued a career traveling as an Inspector of Nuclear Power Plants throughout the United States. He also owned a business of small engine and parts repair. Russell was pre-deceased by his father, Fred G. Curran. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Curran Peklo; two sons, Christopher (Lea) and Michael and grandchildren, Kira and Liam Curran. A Visitation Service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 N. Davis Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32503. In lieu of flowers the family request you to donate to your favorite charity in Russell’s name.
