Obituary of robert francis tyler, jr.

Robert “Bob” F. Tyler, Jr., 69, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Bob was from Cleveland Ohio and graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1970. He was in the US Air Force where he received many Military Honors and truly loved being part of the “Air Force” family until he retired in 1995 with full honors. After retirement he had many entrepreneurial endeavors such as BT’s Lounge in Gulf Breeze. He had a love for softball everywhere he was stationed and a member of the VFW and American Legion. He loved playing cards, especially Texas Hold’em. Bob will be remembered for his giving spirit and generous nature, he never met a stranger. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Tyler Sr. and Eileen Rose Tyler; son, Jason Robert Tyler; brother, Edward Tyler and sister, Debbie Forster. He is survived by his son, Joseph “Joey” Tyler; daughter, Lauren Nicole Tyler; granddaughters, Alianna Tyler and Maia Tyler; sister, Cathy Moore and nephew, Douglas “Dougie” Forester. A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery. The procession for the Committal Service will meet at 2:00pm at Olive Baptist Church-Warrington Campus, 103 W. Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32507.
