WILLIAM IV

Obituary of WILLIAM AARON PARKER, IV

William Aaron Parker IV, 46, known to most as Willie, loving husband and father of two, went to be with his Savior very unexpectedly on Friday, June 18, 2021. William was born in Pensacola, Florida on November 6, 1974, to William and Victoria (Sanders) Parker. He graduated from Escambia High School in 1992. He was a hard worker and held jobs at A&P, Mansfield, and Solutia before starting at Gexpro Services where he worked the last 11 years of his life in the shipping department. William was a proud father to his sons, Matthew and Joshua, whom he loved dearly and faithfully spent time. On May 31, 2013, he married Jeanie Lundy, and was an attentive husband and willing helpmate for the past eight years. William, above all else, enjoyed spending time with his family. He carved time out of his week to visit numerous family members and would often call just to check on them to ensure their well-being. He was a compassionate, caring son, attending to any need he was able to meet for his mother before her passing only months before his own. He was known by all for generously giving of his time, and doing whatever he could for whoever asked. William enjoyed shopping--he was the king of finding bargains, and was fond of driving around, watching movies and football, learning history, and seeing new places. He was a Christ follower and often shared his faith with others. William was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Parker; his uncle, Donnie Sanders, and his cousin, Vickie Marie Burnham. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie; sons, Matthew and Joshua; father, William Parker III; twin brother, David; aunts, Dianne Griffith and Deborah (Tim) Peterson; uncles, Ben (Mary) Parker, Ronnie (Gayle) Sanders and Bob Parker; several cousins and many dear friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 with family visitation at 10:00am, open visitation at 10:30am and service at 11:00am at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Highway, Pensacola Florida 32503.
