Ronnie L. Shurden, 47, of Milton, Florida passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. He was born on July 7, 1973 in Spearfish, South Dakota to parents, Johnnie Floyd Shurden and Deborah Lee Mattson. He was a graduate of Milton High School, Milton, Florida. He was a Project Manager at a home improvement office. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie F. Shurden; grandmother, Hazel Shurden; aunts, Audrey Thomas and Nell Clarke; uncles, Kenneth Shurden, Jim Mattson, Ronnie Mattson, Henry Mattson and cousin, Randy Weber. He is survived by the love of his life for 22 years, Michelle Hicks; son, Brandon Hicks; mother, Debbie (Don) Hamlett; brother, Wesley (Charmaine) Shurden and their son, Wesley Shurden, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Sonja and Cliff Sheffield; sister-in-law, Mallory Rusk; brother-in-laws, Kevin (Anna) Crabb and Andrew Sheffield; aunts, Vivian Kelly and Joanne Shurden; uncle, Pete Shurden; nephews, Noah and David Crabb, Rogan Deveney and Zander Rusk; cousins, P.J. Shurden, Ernest Shurden, Nina Shurden, Vivian Smith, Laura Cranford, Chris Cranford, Keith Weber and Eddie Weber. Ronnie was an avid music lover. He could play the drums, bass and guitar. He was very good at his trade of installing windows and doors. He loved his family and friends wholeheartedly and was very excited to be welcoming his first grandchild, Sebastian Abram Hicks next month. He was an animal lover, especially with his four furbabies at home. He also loved tinkering with electronics and building his own guitar petals. He was even a bit artsy. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
