Obituary of james curtis cloose

Captain James (Jim) Curtis Cloose departed this world on Friday 7, 2021 and went to his heavenly rest. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Ford; father, Nicholas Cloose and sister, Mary Williams. He is survived by his wife, Karen Lanier; daughter, Kati Sanchez (Marc); step-daughter, Leah Milmoe (Wes); grandchildren, Nola, Phoenix, Bristol, and Nick; brothers, Wayne Cloose (Millie) and John Cloose; niece, Lisa Cooley (Robert); nephew, Rex Williams (Randi); best friend, Butch Wiggins (Gretcheal) and a host of other relatives. Jim was a disabled Army Vietnam Veteran and was very proud to have served his country. He loved being at sea and retained a 1500-ton license but his real passion was racing and riding motorcycles. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Fair Winds, Calm Seas, Ride Free Captain Jim A Committal Service is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2021 for 1:30 PM, at Barrancas National Cemetery. The procession will meet at 1:00 PM at Olive Baptist Church - Warrington Campus, 103 West Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32507.
