Obituary of harry langdale nowlin

Harry “Dale” Nowlin returned home on April 6, 2021 unexpectedly. Dale was born on May 10, 1966 in Pensacola, Florida and remained native to the area for his entire life. He worked at Monsanto for a number of years and was a part of the local band, Stepchild. Dale loved to make people laugh by telling jokes and playing music for anyone who would listen. Dale is preceded in death by his mother and father, Jane and Harry Nowlin. He leaves behind his son, Dylan Nowlin (Taylor) and six brothers, Dofin (Marlise), William (Jeanie), Robert (Teresa), Paul (Belinda), Joey, and Steve (Denette); and beloved Uncle Johnny (Betty) and Aunt Nancy. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends. Dale had a big heart and kind soul. He cared so much about the world and those around him. He was the kind of person to give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing his guitar and reading novels. He had a deep love for animals, especially his dog, Atticus. Dale lived his life to the fullest and he lived exactly how he wanted to. We will miss him and the light he brought into our family and world. A Memorial Service for Dale will be held on April 24, 2021 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 6915 Highway 29, Molino, Florida 32577 at 11:00 A.M. A reception will immediately follow the service. Due to Covid-19, a mask and social distancing are highly encouraged by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Waterfront Mission Addiction Recovery of Pensacola/Mobile (waterfrontmission.org) or the GoFundMe, if you would like to contribute to the cost of the memorial arrangements: https://gofund.me/43c2152b.
