Anthony Desmond Baggett, 32, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. With great sadness we announce Anthony D. Baggett, 32, passed away on April 1, 2021 unexpectedly at home. Anthony was born on August 11, 1988 in Pensacola, FL. He was the third child of the family with two older brothers, a younger sister, and younger brother. He attended Pensacola High School and worked in the construction industry for most of his adult life. Anthony had a larger than life attitude and was an amazing father, son, brother, and friend. He loved fishing with his baby girls and spending time with his family. His brothers and sister have such great memories of Anthony. His sister Victoria said “When my father passed away it was such a tough time for me and my brother Kenneth. Anthony would pick us up and let us stay the night with him and buy us ice cream and M&M’s for breakfast. He was definitely a role model for me growing up.” His brother Hillary said “Tony was my baby brother but most of all my best friend. Where you found one you found the other. I hope he knows how much I loved him and knows I will continue to make sure his daughters are cared for and always know how much their daddy loved them.” His brother Quint said “I want Tony to know I am going to keep holding things down. I am going to miss him. He will never be forgotten.” Anthony was preceded in death by his uncles Ernest David Geri, Hillary Nicola Geri Jr, Richard Geri and his paternal Grandmother Joyce Aldridge and many more loved ones. Anthony leaves behind his two beautiful daughters Hannah (7) and Laila (4) and Fiancé Kayla Young. His Mother Jennifer Geri Baggett and Father Harold “Tony” Baggett. His Brothers Eugene Quint Geri, Hillary Geri (Amanda), Kenneth Heinke, and his sister Victoria Heinke. Grandmother Kathie Moon (John), Nephews Kayden Geri and Jeremiah Weatherspoon, several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who will miss him dearly. A Funeral Service will be held on April 22, 2021 with visitation from 1:00-2:00pm and service at 2:00pm at Family Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503.
