Obituary of patricia ann gimlin

Patricia Ann (Pat) Gimlin, 74, of Pensacola, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 13th, 2021. She was born on October 11, 1946 in Hominy, Oklahoma and was raised in Bliss, Idaho. She was married to Robert Gimlin on November 17, 1964 and moved to Pensacola where they raised four children. Pat was a faithful member of Family Baptist Church in Pensacola. Pat had been a member of Olive Baptist Church for many years where she worked on staff for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Maxine Henderson; brother, Wayne Henderson; son, Russell Gimlin and daughter, Sheryl Ann Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Bob Gimlin; daughter, Cyndi (Jim) Mobley of Pace; son, David (Lori) Gimlin of Foley, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Crystal, Todd (Judith) and Will (Catherine) Gimlin all of Texas; Ashley Johnson of Pensacola, Kyle (Jessica) Johnson and James (Kailee) Johnson of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Kelsey (Robert) Moore of Pensacola, Chase Gimlin of Pace, and Mali Gimlin of Foley, Alabama; eight great-grandchildren, Zoey, Neveah, Athena, Lila, Caitey, Will Jr, Lilly, Breydon, and baby Johnson due in August; sister-in-laws, Wilma Copenbarger, Louise Wilkes, Judy Odum and Sue Henderson; one brother-in-law, Steve Gimlin and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank our friends, Church family and Pastor Brad Moffett for your prayers, kind words, love, and support during this time. Services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503. Visitation is at 5:30 PM with services to follow at 6:30 PM.
