Obituary of daniel william mccrea

Daniel William McCrea, 72, of Pace, Florida passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. Daniel attended Escambia High School, and Pensacola Junior College. He was a machinist, and Supervisor and was with Westinghouse for 42 years. Dan was an avid softball player and known for his softball years playing on the Westinghouse teams and traveling teams. He was a family man and loved to watch his grandson play softball and spending beach time with his family, and friends. Dan thought the Blue Angels were “Truly Magnificent”! He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parent Daniel R. and Wilma A. McCrea. He is survived by his loving wife Sherry McCrea; daughters Deana McCrea, April McCrea; grandson, Chase McCrea; granddaughter, Corie (Josh) Jordan; Great Grandson, Tate Jordan; Great Granddaughter, Harleigh Jordan; Brother’s, Joel McCrea, Gary McCrea; Sister, Gail Amant; numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 19, 2021 (Dan’s birthday). Location TBD.
