Obituary of janet billy entwistle

Janet Billy Entwistle passed Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Navarre, Florida surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 12, 1935 to John and Julia (Kingdeski) Billy in Syracuse, New York. She settled with her family in Florida in 1978 but her heart never left her beloved home town of Syracuse. Nicknamed “Spike” by her husband, she was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her wit and kindness by those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband William Entwistle, Sr. They were married for 56 years and their honeymoon never really ended. Janet is survived by her son, William Entwistle, Jr. of Pembroke Pines, Florida; daughters, Katherine and her husband, Fred Burkett of Pace, Florida; Amy and her husband, Derek Barningham of West Palm Beach, Florida and Julie and her husband, Jeff Westrich of Navarre, Florida. She is also survived by two sisters, June Phillips of Baldwinsville, New York and Patricia Flynn and her husband, Joe of Waterford, Michigan; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future in her home town of Syracuse for both Janet and her husband, William followed by interment in the family plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery. This agency provides direct services such as Meals on Wheels for aging seniors.
