Obituary of mark  cassel purser

Mark Cassel Purser passed away suddenly on December 29, 2020. He was born at the Pensacola Naval Air Station Hospital in 1956 and graduated from Escambia High School. He attended the University of Florida as an ROTC student. He owned and operated a remodeling business in Gulf Breeze and was a true artisan of all things beautiful; wood, tile, granite and marble alike. Mark’s first love was for his children and in close second, his 20-year-old Jack Russell Terrier “Scooby” who could be seen wherever Mark traveled. Mark was a master musician and played with multiple music groups locally and toured the country where he met his long-term companion Lucretia Denny. Mark was the son of Robert Kent and Raleigh June Purser (Cassel) and brother to Robert Purser, Jr., all deceased. He is survived by his two children, Alec Purser and Lori Campbell (Purser); his grandson, Brody Campbell; his sister, Sandra J. Fields (Purser) and brothers, Scott W. and Guy R. Purser.
