Robert Lee Strickland, Jr., 57, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Robert Lee Strickland Jr. February 20, 1963 – December 3, 2021 U.S. Navy Burial at Sea Service/Coast of Hawaiian Islands. Tripler Army Medical Center Honolulu, Hawaii Robert L. Jr. graduated Leesville High School, Leesville, LA. Father, Son, Husband, Adventurer, Veteran, Big Brother, and Friend. Robert passed away December 3, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, FL., surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Regena and devoted children, Lauren, Robert W., John and daughter in-law Michelle; his parents, Robert L. Sr. and Joann Strickland; siblings, Andy, Joe, Charlie, and Kathy. Robert worked for Dynamic Industries of New Iberia, LA for 17 years. He was assigned to service in Congo, Trinidad, Gulf Coast U.S.A., and New York City. His Navy service was on Destroyers U.S. Briscoe and U.S. Yellowstone. He was assigned to patrol the Middle East, as well as Creekside Norfolk, VA for shore duty.
