Obituary of devin lee holt

Devin Lee Holt, 32, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was born on April 5, 1988 in Panama City, Florida, the daughter of David Alcock and Renee Cobb. Devin was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who always said that her family was her greatest gift. She was a genuine, compassionate person with a big heart. She had a beautiful spirit and an infectious smile that could light up a room. She was boundlessly creative and had a hysterical sense of humor. She was a gifted teacher and was loved by her students, parents and co-workers at THE CHILDREN’S PLACE preschool. She also had a passion for animals and plants. Her struggle with addiction was a story filled with ups and downs that she willingly shared, and during times of recovery, she was able to help others who struggled as well. Devin is survived by her children, Braylen Holt and Fynlee Martin; parents, David Alcock, Joy Owen and Renee and Dave Cobb; siblings, Seth Alcock, Gracie Giorgio, Cameron Cobb, John Cobb; grandparents, Barbara and Gayle Pfister and Dick and Pat Cobb; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be dearly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A service to celebrate Devin’s life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the main sanctuary of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, 75 Fairpoint Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL, 32561. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a charitable donation be made in Devin’s name to THE CHILDREN’S PLACE at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.
