Obituary of carl wayne powell

Carl Wayne Powell, 29, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020. Carl was born on October 3, 1991 in Pensacola, Florida to Ollie Carl and Donna Lee Odom Powell. Carl Wayne was a loving father, son, grandson, nephew and cousin. He loved everyone and was loved in return by those who got to know him. He will be forever missed by his family and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Ollie Bee Powell and Marion (PePaw) Odom, Jr. Carl is survived by his parents; five month old son, Alex Powell; his sister, Jennifer Powell; grandparents, John and Vivian (Midge) Beasley and Minnie Odom; nephew Kenny Flannigan; Aunts, Uncles and a host of cousins and friends. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Katherine Brown and her son, Joshua Hicks. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, with visitation at 10:30 – 11:30 am, service at 11:30 am at Family-Funeral and Cremation, 5627 North Davis Hwy., Pensacola, Florida 32503. Interment will be held following the service at 2:00 PM at the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, 7121 Hwy 97A, McDavid, Florida 32568.
