Obituary of Gordon Lee Hood

Gordon Lee Hood, 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2020. Gordon was born on March 14, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida. He retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. in 1999. Gordon was a very talented welder, fitter, fabricator and continued welding up to the time of his death. Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Elizabeth Hood and his brother, Milton E. Hood. Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Debra Ward Hood (Milton, FL); sister, Kathryn Hood (Big Canoe, GA); nephew, Ashton Hood (Pensacola, FL); sister in law, Judy Hood (Pensacola, FL) and his fur daughter, “Milly Rae.” Gordon was strong, loving and kind. He was a friend to all and will be missed by anyone who ever met and knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
