Susan and her twin sister always loved going fishing and crabbing and would always grab a Whataburger, their favorite burger, on the way. They would make a huge pot of gumbo which made the rest of the family very happy. Susan loved to decorate her house for the holidays. Her and David would spend days making and painting new decorations for the outside of the house. She loved that it brought joy to her neighbors.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Lee Payne; mother, Maude Payne and her twin sister, Sandra Payne.
She is survived by her son, David Miller; two daughters, Melissa (Earl) Knauer and Elizabeth (Rob) Sims; two grandsons, Tyler and Ryker Ray Magashazy; her brothers, Tommy (Nancy) Payne and Ben (Teri) Payne and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Take Time
Take time to gaze at a sunset sky
Where colors blaze to dazzle the eye.
Take time to watch a moonlit sea
And look in awe at a towering tree.
Take time to look in the heart of a flower
Adorned with diamonds from a gentle shower.
Take time to view a mountain high
With snowy peak against bluest sky.
Take time to listen to the song of birds-
A paean of joy without the need of words.
Take time to tell your closest friend
Your love and loyalty will never end.
Take time to stop and stand and stare
At wonders around you everywhere.
Take time to make time-
For all too soon there is no more time.
