Obituary of Sallie jones outing

Sallie Jones (Mother Outing) Outing 82, a lifetime resident of Pensacola, Florida,transitioned on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Sallie was born in Evergreen, Alabama, April 13, 1938, to the late March and Abby Jones. Sallie attended Washington High School, where she met the love of her life. Sallie Jones married Dewey Daniel Outing and it lasted until death did they part fifty-eight years later. Sallie retired from McRae’s, where she served faithfully for over twenty years. Sallie was a beloved member of the Empowerment Church, 407 West Michigan Avenue, Pensacola, Florida, Brian & Gwen Thompson, Pastors. Sallie is survived by four children, Rhonda G. Mason (Bryan) of Kathleen, Georgia, Michael D. Outing (Ruth) of Pensacola, Florida, and Sean D. Outing Sr. (Lenia), Warner Robins, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Four children preceded her in death Judy Diane, Sallie Patricia, Terence Dane and Dewey Jr. Sallie will be laid to rest at a private graveside service and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida, on Friday, July 24, 2020.
