Marva would later attend Pensacola Community College. Her 50-year skilled career included work in various administrative positions with business and non-profit organizations located in Detroit, Michigan; Milpitas, California and Pensacola, Florida. She was employed as an accountant with the University of West Florida and also worked as an Escambia County substitute teacher before retiring in 2013. Truly a servant of the Lord, Marva was an unwavering caregiver. She was gracious, generous, energetic, independent and always proclaimed the positive things in life. Marva loved the National Football League and was a super fan of the Chicago Bears. Her joys included fishing, cooking and baking for her family, interior decorating, offering words of encouragement and praise, and singing in her church choir. Marva is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at rest with her Savior.
