Obituary of Deborah jo joyner

Deborah Jo Joyner, 62, went to her heavenly home on June 2, 2020. She was born to Verma R. Joyner and Lulu Faye Hill Joyner on April 14, 1958 in Quincy, FL. She moved to Pensacola in 1969 when she was 11 years old. Growing up Deb rode mini-bikes and enjoyed the beach. She played softball for FOP at Larson Center Ball Park for 5 years. Deb loved Mo-Town music, enjoyed working in the yard and working with her plants. She graduated J.M. Tate High School, Class of 1976 and shortly thereafter joined the United States Air Force where she became a firefighter. Deb had various jobs over the years and her favorite was doing yard work. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Donna Fay Brackin. Deb is survived by her brother, Danny Joyner; sister, Daryl Ann Joyner (Ronnie Harper); nephew, Brian Harper; nieces, Tara Brackin and Caroline Harper and great niece, Alyssa McIntosh. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020, with visitation from 5:00– 6:00 pm and service at 6:00 pm at Family-Funeral & Cremation, 5627 North Davis Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32503.
