Obituary of leatha irwin smith

Leatha I. "Lisa" Smith, 45, of Kingsford Heights, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola Florida. She is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Irwin. She is survived by her loving husband and Soul mate of 29 years, Alvin Smith; sons, Frankie (Danielle) Smith and Billy Smith all of Kingsford Heights, IN; step sons, Shane Smith and Alvin Davis, both of Alabama; father, Frank Irwin of South Haven, IN; sisters, Eleanore (Bruce) Jahr of Chesterton IN, Elizabeth (Eric) Holt of Hammond IN; brother, David Irwin of North East PA; 11 wonderful grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Leatha married the love of her life Alvin on August 14, 1990. They built a beautiful life together to raise their family in Northwest Indiana. Leatha loved to sing and dance. She loved spending time with her family, especially all of her grandbabies, who she loved to the moon and back, forever and always with all her heart! She and Alvin were able to travel and met many new friends along the way. She had a heart of gold and always made people feel welcomed, with a smile on her face. She will be truly missed and always remembered by the ones she loved. There will be a celebration of life memorial for her on August 14, 2020 at Stix River Resort in Robertsdale, Alabama.
