Obituary of Brenta paulette pair cook

March 25, 1952 - March 11, 2020 Brenta Paulette Pair Cook was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and graduated in 1970 from Catholic High School. Brenta’s fondest memory was riding horses with her father and told stories about it often. She loved her brother, Joe, and sister, Gayle very much. She always gave her mother, Inez, credit for learning so much about love and caring for others. She loved music and sang in several bands in the late 60’s and 70’s throughout Pensacola. She was a flower child at heart. Brenta worked at West Florida Hospital’s Emergency Department as a secretary for years before becoming a medical office manager until she retired. Brenta won many awards for her work as a manager but contributed most of her achievements to the team that she led and cherished when working at Cardiology Consultants in the 1990s. She was preceded in death by her father, Brenton Alton Pair and her mother, Marion Inez Peake Pair. She is survived by her son, Zachary (Carmela) Cook; granddaughter, Savannah Cook; sister, Gayle Biggs and brother, Joseph (Sib) Pair and many nieces and nephews. Brenta’s number one focus in life was her son, Zach. Brenta was an avid soccer mom, spending countless hours with Zach and his teammates driving to and from practices, games, and tournaments across the southeast. She was always involved in her son’s activities including school functions and sports when she could. Of course, she was a hard worker, too, making sure Zach had everything he needed growing up. Brenta also loved animals. As far back as anyone can remember she had a cat or small dog, or both. Even as her health declined, she refused to give up her animals. Brenta was also infatuated with angels. She prayed to them while going through her difficult health journey and considered all her friends and family part of her guardian angels. One of her happiest moments in life was when she became a grandmother to her precious granddaughter Savannah, who she loved and cherished every moment with. She would never say goodbye, only so long knowing that we would all meet again one day. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 9:00am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 6451 Park Avenue, Milton FL 32570.
