Obituary of terrance eugene overland

Terrance “Terry” Eugene Overland, 71, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2020 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Newport News, Virginia. He was the eldest of seven children born to Arthur and Ellen Overland of Alamogordo, New Mexico. Terry served in the US Navy for seven years. He then pursued his dream of becoming a commercial diver. His work as a diver and diving supervisor led him to the area of health and safety where he earned his certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certification. His life work provided many opportunities to travel around the world. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kevin and sister, Karen. Terry is survived by his wife, Danielle; sons, Craig and Sean Overland; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Maureen Smith of Alamogordo, NM and Donna Shelton of Yorktown, VA; brothers, David Overland of San Antonio, TX and Greg Overland of Westminster, MD as well as many nieces, nephews and his godson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 12:00 pm at St. Sylvester Church, 7552 Navarre Pkwy., Navarre, Florida 32566.
